HOW TO BURN PALO SANTO
• Open all windows in your space. This allows for any stale energy to pass out while your are doing your cleanse.
• Before lighting, make sure you have a fireproof dish to hold under your palo santo while it is lit in case there are any falling embers.
• Use fire to ignite one end of your Palo Santo stick.
• Hold it around 45 degrees, pointing the tip down toward the flame. Allow it to burn for about 30 seconds to 1 minute and then blow the flame out.
• Move about your space, which can be anywhere you'd like to clear the energy and set your intentions.
• Fan or waft the smoke around your area, trying to spread it over the entirety of your space.
• If you start to see the glowing embers fade, blow the end lightly to revive it. If it goes out, re-light until you are ready to put it out.
• Once finished, extinguish the Palo Santo stick by placing the burning end firmly against a stone, a fire-proof dish, or sand until smoke no longer rises.

Always use caution when using fire and/or burning our product. All smudging items should be burned on a fire-proof plate, away from people, pets, and air drafts that may carry burning embers. Do not leave burning smudge unattended and extinguish immediately after use.
